I was trying to find out if a local voucher site cobone.com had any vouchers for a “buy one get one” kinda deal recently….. couldn’t find a “search” area on their website…. But I did see a “click to chat” button…. Clicked it, and this is a copy/paste of our “help session” conversation (insert snarky tone here)….

LOL…. Khalid, the whole conversation just made me laugh – in a previous life, I would have been frustrated or aggravated, but I’ve learned to temper all that with a huge amount of patience and a sense of humor. It was still pretty amazing to me that you couldn’t search through current offers for something specific – that just seems to be a *very* basic component of websites. But apparently not. *shrug* Hey, thanks for following along looking at things through my eyes!
This did make me chuckle! I have had a similar encounter with a well-known tv provider when trying to find some information that just could not be searched for or found anywhere. The general tone was sort of ‘how-could-you-not-know-this-piece-of-information?’ which I found amusing as the information was not available!
LOL…. well, it’s something I’ve learned to find humor in as opposed to frustration or aggravation. But in retrospect, it made me smile, that’s why I recapped it here. Thanks for following along on my little adventure!
This sounds ridiculously similar to a conversation I once had with a computer parts supplier based in Georgia. Pretty sure that George wasn’t his real name and Southern English was not his native language.
Uh, yeah…. I got that exact same feeling from Ruby. But am I crazy to think it’s a useful and helpful feature to have the dang search function on ANY website??? I mean, how do you FIND stuff?? Sheesh. Thanks for following along on our adventure.
Well, at least they had the “Chat” part right. Bless it.
